Hi! I’m Joy.

I am a photographer by trade, an artist by practice, a writer in my wildest dreams, and a poet whenever I feel like it! I also like to swim and dance whenever I get the chance. I am many things and so are you, which is part of what makes being human Truly Spectacular! As a genderqueer and neurodivergent person, I naturally see the world through a squiggly lens. I'm curious about demystifying the practice of portraiture by finding new ways to make it feel less intimidating and more like a ritual that can be experienced over and over and over again throughout your lifetime.
